Joseph Ortega of Fresno.  A judge issued an active arrest warrant for raping an unconscious woman.

In October of 2014, a woman in her 20s went out to a bar for drinks with a group of people.  After becoming intoxicated, the woman returned home with the group.  Members of the group continued to drink and dance inside the house, while the woman went to a bedroom to sleep.  A couple of hours later, Joseph Ortega, one of the party-goers whom the woman knows, entered the room where she was sleeping.  Ortega removed her clothes and had sex with her while she was unconscious.  The woman later woke up and tried to push Ortega off of her, but he was too heavy.  She yelled at him to get off of her, which he finally did.  The woman ran to another room and called the Sheriff’s Office to make a criminal report.

Deputies responded to the home and arrested Ortega.  He spent four months in Fresno County Jail and was released after serving his time.

Ortega 30 years old.  He is described as 6’1”, 200 lbs. with brown eyes and short brown hair.
