Hi, this is Chief Jerry Dyer with the KMJ Fresno Police Department’s most wanted person of the week – Modoc Boys street gang member Tyvonne Wagner.
On August 27, 2016, Fresno Police responded to the intersection of Effie & Belmont the AM-PM mini mart regarding a disturbance and shooting in the parking lot. Arriving officers were contacted by witnesses who said that a disturbance occurred between two rival gangs when a gang member pulled out a gun and started shooting at people who were standing at the gas pumps and by the front doors of the mini mart. Witnesses advised that no one was hit and the suspect fled into the neighborhood before officers arrived. Follow-up investigation by Fresno Police Street Violence Section Detectives determined that Tyvonne Wagner was responsible for the shooting. Wagner is a validated Modoc Boys street gang member with an extensive criminal record. He is currently wanted for felony assault with a firearm, shooting at an occupied dwelling, and being a member of a criminal street gang. Tyvonne Wagner should be considered armed and dangerous and is believed to be somwhere in southeast Fresno.
