The Fresno County Sheriff’s Office most wanted person of the week is:
Jose Arturo Mora of Fresno. An arrest warrant has been issued for violating his probation in relation to a charge of false imprisonment with violence.
In October, Jose Mora got into an argument with his girlfriend. Mora began to throw items around the room, grabbed the woman by her arm and would not let her go. She got free and went into another room to call police for help. Mora took the phone from her and smashed it on the ground. She ran to a neighbor’s home to get them to call for help. Mora followed her outside and pulled her by her hair back toward their house. The neighbor called the Sheriff’s Office and made a report, which caused Mora to take off in a car.
Deputies arrived to the Mayfair District neighborhood and contacted the victim. They developed information about Mora and were able to track him down and arrest him. Mora spent a month and a half in jail and was released as part of a probation agreement. An agreement he has since violated.
Jose Mora is 26 years old, 5’6”, 145 lbs., with brown eyes and black hair. He may have a thin mustache. He has a tattoo of the name “Mora” on his left forearm
