Grand Theft Suspect Tyler Ray Cherry

On Sunday, September 3, 2017, Fresno Police Officers responded to Yosemite Middle Schoool for theft of surveillance equipment valued at more than $2000. Officers reviewed video surveillance footage that depicted an unknown white male adult removing the HD night vision surveillance cameras until the transmission was cut off. Detectives conducted follow up investigations and determined suspect Tyler Ray Cherry was responsible for the theft. Suspect Cherry is a transient who frequents the 1300 block of N. Eighth Street as well as the area of N. Rowell and Home Ave. Suspect Cherry is wanted for violation of PC 487(a) Grand theft. Suspect Tyler Ray Cherry is believed to be hiding in the Fresno area.
