Crystal Rose Wharton of Squaw Valley. A judge has issued an arrest warrant for her failing to appear in court on a charge of assault with a deadly weapon.
On April 10, 2016, Fresno County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a disturbance call at a home on the 41000 block of Partridge Ave. in Squaw Valley. Crystal Wharton was in an argument with her boyfriend and another woman. Wharton became upset with the woman and used the pickup truck she was driving as a weapon. She accelerated toward the woman and struck her in the legs. The woman was able to climb on the hood and hung on until Wharton stopped the truck, which was about 20 feet away. Wharton’s boyfriend was able to take the truck keys away and Wharton walked away from the property. Deputies conducted a search of the area and found Wharton hiding in some bushes. She appeared to be under the influence of drugs.
Deputies booked Wharton into the Fresno County Jail. She spent nearly a month in custody and was then released after posting the necessary bond to bail out of jail.
Wharton is a white woman who is 36 years old. She is 5’5”, 125 lbs. with brown eyes and red hair. She also has a piercing on the right side of her nose.
